BIKE RENTALS

When you visit Key West, you don't need a car. When you book your room, ask your innkeeper about renting a bicycle! It's the best way to get around, you won't have to deal with parking, and it provides a better perspective of the island than driving. Most inns, bed and breakfasts, guesthouses, and boutique hotels will arrange for your bike to be brought to the property.

BOATING & CHARTERS

For generations, Key West depended on the vast natural resources of the world's third largest barrier reef for it's livelihood and survival. Today, no trip to Key West is complete without going out on the water. One of the best ways to experience the water's natural beauty is to charter or rent a boat. Whether you are planning a day-trip for snorkeling or fishing, traveling out to search for dolphins or other sea life, or relaxing in the sunset with a tropical drink, Key West is a boating mecca for a reason: we love and appreciate the water surrounding us.

DIVING & SNORKELING

Florida's Barrier Reef begins in the Dry Tortugas and surrounds the Florida Keys, providing one of North America's best diving and snorkeling experiences. From shipwrecks to coral ridges, schools of bright tropical fish, dolphins, sea turtles and other life, visiting this amazing ecosystem will create memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you're a professional diver who wants to visit the U.S.S. Vandenberg or have no diving experience and want to snorkel in the warm reef waters, our experienced diving and snorkeling charters will provide you with a fun and eco-friendly experience, regardless of skill level.

ENTERTAINMENT

Key West is an island of art and culture- low and high. Whether you're looking for a classic Broadway show or cutting-edge theater, or prefer to listen to live singers in famous and notorious bars, it's difficult to not be entertained while visiting the Conch Republic. View independent films at The Tropic Cinema, or see our famous drag shows featuring legends like Inga and Sushi. Here are some of our recommendations:

FISHING

You don't have to be a famous author like Ernest Hemingway or a president like Harry Truman to understand the thrill of fishing off of Key West. More saltwater fishing records have been established in the Florida Keys than any other angling destination on Earth! Our experienced fishing captains know where the best spots are- from shipwrecks to the barrier reef. Others fish the flats and shallow channels. For a great fishing experience, get a recommendation when you book your room or contact one of the charters below to reserve a half or full-day (or two!).

SCOOTER & ELECTRIC CAR RENTALS

Scooter and electric cars are among the most convenient modes of transportation in Key West. They are a quick way to get from point A to point B, easier to park than automobiles, and fun!

SHOPPING

From Duval Street's quirky tourist shops to high-end galleries featuring renown artists, Key West is full of great shopping options. Check out our independent clothing boutiques, fine art galleries, or jewelry stores. Purchase island photography or memorabilia.  If you're heading out on the water, gear up at one of our local dive shops. Pick-up key lime treats at a specialty shop or visit a local grocer for essentials.

SPAS & WELLNESS

Key West is a famous escape from the real world, a place where visitors can relax and enjoy a vacation at their own pace. One way to enhance your trip is to visit one of the island's spas, massage therapists, or health and wellness centers. You'll leave refreshed and rejuvenated- both in body and in spirit.

SUNSET SAILS & CHARTERS

Key West's sunset is a reason to celebrate. It marks the moment between a relaxing island day and an evening out, wrapped in stunning colors and natural beauty. The best way to experience the sunset is on the water. Sail out of Key West harbor on a historic schooner or comfortable catamaran, enjoy the island breezes and toast the end of the afternoon and beginning of a Key West evening with a glass of champagne with your friends and family.

TOURS

Key West's site-seeing tours are a great way to explore the island. Many visitors begin their trip by taking a tour led by professional storytellers who provide an overview of the island's history, architecture, museums and attractions. This is a fun and entertaining way to get the "lay of the land." From trolley and bike tours to walking and marine tours, these trips will provide you with a great overview of everything that our island has to offer.
